Half of the remaining oil and gas industry workforce are between the ages of 50 and 60, with only 15% in their early 20’s to mid 30’s. The average age in the oil and gas industry is 48.
Labor shortages are being felt throughout the Kansas oil and gas industry and have often limited industry activity. These shortages have stretched across all disciplines in the oil and gas industry.
